The Philippines Cabanatuan Mission was created February 1, 1991 in a division of the Philippines San Fernando Mission, which was formerly called the Quezon City West Mission. At that time, the mission had 15,965 members in four stakes and a population of 2.4 million. In 1998, the mission home and office of the Philippines San Fernando Mission moved to Olongapo, changing the mission name to that city. Consequently, the areas including and surrounding Angeles City and San Fernando, Pampanga were included in the Philippines Cabanatuan Mission. In 1999, the mission home and office of the Philippines Cabanatuan Mission were relocated to Clark Field, Pampanga. As a result, the mission was re-named the Philippines Angeles Mission.

Mission Song
HARVEST!
O Ye that embark in the service of God, serve with all your heart, mind and strength! And blameless stand on that glorious day when Jesus Christ will reign.
Chorus:
Thrust in your sickle with all your might.
Gather up the harvest for the field is white!
And store up treasures in heaven, and bring
to your soul salvation!
Your eye must be single to the glory of God, having faith and hope and love. Then if you walk in his likeness, plain will be make the plan above.
Chorus
This marvelous work must go fourth to all men unto all the ends of the earth! Then put your soul in the hand of God; let him prove you for your worth.
